GENERATE YOUR API KEYS

API keys are your digital references towards PayDunya systems. We use them to identify your account and the applications you will create. These keys are necessary for any integration of the APIs of PayDunya's payments APIs. Here are the steps to follow:

  • First you need have a PayDunya Business account activated. Create one if it is not yet the case.

  • Login to your account and click on oneAPI at the menu level on the left.

  • Click on the button Set up a new application and fill out the form.

  • Choose Test mode, I want to make payment tests and Enable production mode.

Manual installation


  • download our PayDunya prestashop module compatible with version 1.7; (Or this module version compatible with version 1.6 of Prestashop)

  • Upload the PayDunya module like any other Prestashop module, by clicking on Modules > Module Catalog then clicking on top right on Install a module .

Configuration of BCEAO XOF currency (FCFA)

To configure the currency BCEAO XOF (FCFA), in the left menu of the PrestaShop admin interface click on International > Localization. Then click on Currencies in the tabbed menu just above.

Then click Add new currency at the top right, then create the XOF (FCFA) and set its exchange rate. You leave this rate 1.

PLUGIN CONFIGURATION


Mandatory


  • Configure the PayDunya module by clicking in the left menu of PrestaShop, on
    Modules > Module manager. Look for the PayDunya module by typing "Paydunya". Then click configuring.

  • Login on PayDunya and retrieve the API keys by clicking at the level of Intégration API then on Details of your application.

  • Go back to the Prestashop administration interface and complete the required PayDunya plugin configuration fields.


Mandatory


The options configuration are as follows:

  • Master Key: Enter the Primary Key provided by PayDunya when creating your application.

  • Private Key Production: Enter the Private Production Key provided by PayDunya when creating your application.

  • Production Token: Enter the production Token provided by PayDunya when creating your application.

  • Private Test Key: Enter the Private Test Key provided by PayDunya when creating your application.

  • Test Token: Enter the test Token provided by PayDunya when creating your application.

  • Mode: Choose Test if you are still in the test and Live payments phase once you are ready to accept actual payments.

  • Payment button text: Text that the customer will see when paying for his order (it is advisable to leave the default value).

  • Description of the payment button: Description of the payment solution PayDunya that will see the customer when paying for his order (it is advisable to leave the default).

  • Message displayed in case of payment success: Message that the customer will see after ordering.

  • Message displayed in case of payment error: Message that will be seen if for some reason the transaction could not be performed.

  • Click onSave so that your changes are taken into account.

  • Finally activate the module by clicking in the left menu of Prestashop, on Payment > Preferences . Then check the boxes in the row for the new configured currency "BCEAO XOF (FCFA)".
